You Don’t
Have to Be Invisible
Whether you’ve never talked about your gender before, are living as your affirmed self, or you’re somewhere in between—you deserve safety and support.
I’ve been walking beside trans and gender-expansive people for over a decade. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Who I Hold
Space For
Coaching sessions with me are specifically designed for the diverse array of people who comprise the transgender and nonbinary community.
Calling Gender Witch Coaching a "safe space" is not just a performative declaration. I strive to create safety on a foundation of trans-savvy and trauma-informed knowledge, ongoing education and lived experience, and researched decisions about best practices.
People at every stage of a gender journey are welcome and will be met with understanding. People with intersecting experiences of oppression—including people of color, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, and sexual minorities—can expect to be met with care, a solid base of pre-existing knowledge, and a humility and openness to learn about your unique life.
What to Expect
When You Work with MeMy sessions happen in a secure, virtual space that protects your anonymity if you choose. I’m not required to keep any records with identifying information.
When we meet, I come fully present and ready to listen deeply, attuning to everything you're sharing so we can co-create truly transformative conversations together.
My hope is that you'll feel safe enough to share your dreams and goals with me, and from there we'll work as partners in bringing positive change to life.
Some sessions explore the stories that have shaped your life so far, others involve strategizing for empowered coping with the challenges of being trans. Some sessions include celebration of milestones and euphoria, and some become sacred containers for processing grief, anger, and fear.
True to my witchy heart, many of our conversations weave in metaphors from the natural world—rivers, seasons, roots, and growth. Whatever is stirring in your mind and heart when you arrive, you'll be held in complete respect, dignity, and hope.

Beyond
the Work
This is meI grew up in Portland, Maine, and have moved many times. I’ve experienced diverse cities along my journey, including Albuquerque, New Orleans, New York City, Orlando, Boston, Austin, Olympia, Bellingham, and (the other) Portland.
Now that I’ve landed in my beautiful home, I’m putting down roots by helping to launch a community queer choir and by volunteering at a hospital for orphaned and injured seals.
I love going to emo concerts with my young adult daughter, bird-watching with my cats, kayaking with my dog, and reading by waterfalls.
FAQs
-
Sessions are held virtually using a secure, private interface and are available worldwide. Some sessions are joyful, some are heavy, and some involve exploring natural metaphors or spiritual themes—if that feels resonant for you. You set the tone. I’m here to hold the space.
-
I shifted to coaching after nearly a decade as a licensed counselor because it gives me more freedom to serve people worldwide—and gives you more room to explore without being pathologized.
Coaching doesn’t require a diagnosis or record-keeping with identifying information, and it allows us to work together outside the limitations of the medical model. Our work is shaped by your goals, not someone else’s framework.
-
Absolutely not. There is no one-size-fits-all path to affirming your gender or any other part of yourself. I respect the need for strategic safety in a hostile world. Whether you’re visible or private, out or not, questioning or affirmed, you’re welcome here.
-
I am not able to accept health insurance for my services, but I offer a sliding scale so that my coaching is as accessible as possible. I understand that many people are experiencing financial hardship in these times, and I will do my best to work with you to figure out how I can support you within your budget.

Since I am no longer a therapist, a letter of support for legal or medical gender affirmation steps from me will not satisfy most providers or health insurance companies.
What I can do instead is help you research to find licensed therapists in your area who do have the credentials to write a letter and who practice minimal gatekeeping in order to do so.
